Vino in the Village
Winefest Des Moines event in conjunction with the East Village Association
Date: Saturday, April 26th
Planned time: 1:30 – 5:00 pm

This April, Winefest plans to come back for another Vino in the Village – a showcase of wine tastings throughout the East Village! Participants will start the day purchasing a glass and map, and then stroll the East Village through a multitude of retail shops, where they will be greeted with samplings of different selections of wines along the way.

Here’s what we ask of restaurant partners:
Open your doors during the time of the event!

We are encouraging everyone to offer some sort of discount on full wine pours, special or prix fixe menu with wine pairings! We will promote it on our program for guests.

Please note we are not having any sampling locations inside of restaurants, but plan to encourage ticket holders to stop at restaurant partners for their specials during and after the event.


Here’s what Winefest plans to provide to participating restaurants:

Signage day of the event indicating you are a participating location

Promotion of the restaurant’s special, prix fixe menu, or discount

Promotional signage for store window in the weeks leading up to the event
