Here’s the deal – Winefest has partnered with local restaurants to bring you a fabulous meal and delectable wine pairing to enjoy at home while social distancing. Stop by the restaurant for pickup by 5:00 on the day of the Virtual Wine Flight. Come home and at 6:00, join us on Facebook Live for a description and Q&A with a Sommelier.

Mark Davidson’s Bio

Born in London, raised in Sydney Mark has over 35 years of experience in the hotel, restaurant and wine business, fifteen of those as a Sommelier.

In 2001 he was name Sommelier of the Year at the Vancouver Wine Festival- also won the Spirited Industry Professional award in 2014.

As a Department Head and instructor with the International Sommelier Guild he was instrumental in the on-going development of the curriculum and has taught classes in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Mark is an annual judge at Texsom International Wine Awards, Sunset Magazine, LA International wine competitions.

He is in the process of writing the Wines of Australia book for Classic Wine Library.

Mark is currently Head of Education for Wine Australia in North America.
