Who’s in for a little fun and education?! The Dotdash Meredith Saturday Sessions are one-of-a-kind experiences with fabulous entertainment, wine and demonstrations.

Join two amazing Iowan bakers, Chelsa Smith with Bread by Chelsa and Aaron Hall with The Local Crumb as they show us the how-tos of making sourdough loaves and sourdough focaccia. These two are true experts in their fields with their cult followings and sell out sales. Humble brag – Aaron is a 2022 James Beard Semifinalist for Outstanding Baker for his Mount Vernon based bakery The Local Crumb! The delicious bread will be paired with Kalona SuperNatural organic butter that is traditionally churned and delivered from local, small family farms that use regenerative farming practices. While you sample, you will sip on the perfect pairing with bread – two fabulous sparkling wines.

CREPE IT UP WITH JAINE MACKIEVICZ

Spend the afternoon with Jaine Mackievicz, the winner of Food Network’s The Juli Child Challenge, learning how to “crepe it up”! Jaine will demonstrate how to make crepes two ways – one French inspired and one Brazilian inspired! Each crepe style will be paired with either a French wine or Brazilian wine. Before you know it, you’ll be flipping crepe like Julie Child herself!
